Sand Cat

The Sandcat provides improved drainage and the enhancement of the rootzone for fine turf surfaces such as golf course greens, tees and other fine turf fields of play.

The Sandcat is a linear de-compactor that has found a way to backfill the 6” slit created with a consistent bead of kiln dried sand. An improvement on other sand modification tools, in that the sand moves water laterally rather than vertically. Because of this the 1200 lbs of sand per 1000 ftsq that is introduced is concentrated in the top 6”, where almost all the roots are located.
